YOUTH MENTORSHIP TEAM

In 2021, our mentorship team of high school youth in Delmarva created a name to identify themselves as the leaders of the younger generations in their area.  They called their group the S.W.A.T. team, which stands for

        Spiritual

        Warriors

        Advancing

        Transformation

The Youth S.W.A.T team members, primarily between the ages of 14 and 18, engage in disciplined training to sharpen their skills as effective mentors, teachers, and leaders of younger generations.  On a practical level, they lead weekly spiritual educational classes for children and empowerment mentoring groups for junior youth, coordinate service projects, organize gatherings for collective worship open to all faith backgrounds, and create community spaces and activities for the overall enrichment of their own communities.
